Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Automobile, Cement Industry, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Steel

Age 30 to 35 years

Core / Job Skills:

Transport & fleet management (vehicle allocation, routing, utilization)
Delivery planning & scheduling (trip planning, dispatch coordination)
Knowledge of VTS/GPS tracking systems
Route planning & lead time management
Understanding of vehicle capacity, loading & unloading processes
Documentation & reporting (trip reports, fuel logs, delivery records)
Basic cost control (fuel, toll, repair, trip expenses)
Knowledge of road safety & compliance (BRTA rules, licenses, fitness)
Vendor/transport contractor management
Basic mechanical awareness (to handle breakdown situations)

Responsibilities & Context

Ensure uninterrupted transport shift operations to achieve customer satisfaction and optimal utilization of vehicles:

Properly take over shift responsibilities from the outgoing shift officer with full operational understanding.

Execute shift delivery programs in coordination with Schedule Officials.

Verify availability status of company vehicles, drivers, and helpers through coordination with responsible staff and regular VTS monitoring.

Maintain effective coordination among schedule, transport, and delivery teams during the shift.

Ensure uninterrupted loading as per delivery schedule and timely vehicle gate-out.

Address drivers’ and helpers’ grievances, manage road expenses, ensure unloading labor availability, and resolve on-road issues promptly and professionally.

Monitor vehicle movement along designated routes and follow up on delivery lead times.

Coordinate return trips among reporting superior, transport agents, and drivers.

Maintain and update shift-wise transport reports accurately.

Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting superior as required.
