Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or Refraction. Candidates with recognized professional training will receive preference.
Experience
1 to 2 years

Age 18 to 35 years
Sound knowledge of refraction procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities & Context
SKS Eye Hospital is inviting applications from competent, dedicated, and patient-focused professionals for the position of Re-fractionist. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate refraction assessments, assisting ophthalmologists, and ensuring quality eye care services.
Perform objective and subjective refraction examinations.
Measure visual acuity and prescribe appropriate corrective lenses under supervision.
Conduct preliminary eye examinations and patient screening.
Operate and maintain refraction equipment and diagnostic instruments.
Assist ophthalmologists during outpatient consultations.
Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
Educate patients on spectacle use and eye care.
Ensure proper infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
