Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries, Marine Engineering
Master of Science (MSc) in Fisheries, Marine Fisheries and Blue Economy
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Fisheries, Marine Fisheries, Marine Science, or Blue Economy (or closely related field).

Experience

At most 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fisheries, Marine Industry
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

Age 26 to 32 years
Educational Requirements:
Minimum 1st Class/Division or GPA 5.00 (or equivalent) in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements:
Fresher or 2-3 years of relevant experience
Fresher’s are encouraged to apply as well
Skills & Competencies:
Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative and qualitative research and problem-solving skills.
 Communication: Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both English and Bangla.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge AI applications and data analysis tools is an added advantage.
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of marine/coastal resource management and sustainable blue economy frameworks.
 Soft Skills: High self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage tight deadlines, and perform under pressure.

We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and highly motivated Research Executive to join our team who will contribute in our upcoming projects. Job Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research on fisheries, marine resources, and blue economy aspects for related projects.
Data Management: Collect, compile, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from field surveys and desk research.
Field Work: Participate in field visits to coastal and marine areas for data collection.
Best Practices & Policy Review: Review national and international best practices, policies, and frameworks related to sustainable fisheries and blue economy development.
Reporting: Prepare high-quality research reports, policy briefs, and stakeholder presentations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Support liaison and coordination with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and local communities.
Project Support: Maintain organized project documentation, assist with data management systems, and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by project leads.
