Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. (Candidates with relevant expertise and strong language skills may have educational requirements relaxed).

Educational Requirements·
JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) Level N2 or N1 certification is required.
Comprehensive understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and protocol, advanced-level fluency in written and spoken Japanese, alongside excellent English translation and communication skills
Experience & Additional Requirements
3 to 5 years of professional experience in trade communication, Japanese client management, or translation.
Fluency in spoken and written Japanese is strictly required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
High level of cultural adaptability and knowledge of Japanese business etiquette.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
BGMEA is seeking a dynamic and target-driven professional to manage and coordinate activities for its Japan Desk. The ideal candidate will facilitate trade communication, business correspondence, and bilateral coordination between Bangladeshi garment exporters and Japanese trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day written and verbal communications with Trade associations, Japanese customers and diplomatic delegates.
Perform high-quality translation and interpretation of official documents, emails, trade reports, and meetings in Japanese.
Coordinate trade missions, study tours, B2B meetings, and exhibitions involving Japanese delegations.
Assist BGMEA leadership during official meetings with Japanese stakeholders.
