Education
Kamil in Fiqh / Arabic from a recognized institution.
The candidate must have training in: Fiqh-Al-Muamalat, Islamic Economics, IslamicBanking & Finance
Experience
At least 5 years

Minimum 05 (five) years of relevant experience in the Shariah Department of an Islamic Life Insurance Company.
Proven experience in organizing and conducting Shariah Council Meetings, including preparation and maintenance of meeting minutes.
Practical experience in developing and implementing Shariah Audit Plans and Programs, reviewing transaction documents for Shariah compliance, and following up on audit recommendations.
Experience in preparing comprehensive Shariah Audit Reports and ensuring appropriate resolution of identified Shariah-related issues.
Sound knowledge of Takaful products, operations, and practices.
Strong understanding of Shariah principles applicable to Islamic finance and insurance activities.
Responsibilities & Context
Assist in ensuring Shariah compliance of the Company`s operations, products, transactions and related activities.
Assist in organizing and conducting Shariah Council Meetings and preparing proper minutes and records.
Maintain effective correspondence and communication with Shariah Resource Persons and relevant stakeholders.
Design Shariah Audit Plans and Programs and monitor/follow up the implementation of Shariah Audit recommendations.
Prepare Shariah Audit Reports and review executed transaction documents to ensure compliance with Shariah principles.
Review and identify Shariah-related issues arising from operational and business activities and recommend appropriate solutions.
Maintain necessary records and documentation relating to Shariah review, audit and compliance activities.
Contribute to strengthening the Company`s overall Shariah governance and compliance framework.
Perform any other Shariah-related responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.
