Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Manager (Structural Engineer) to lead structural design, engineering, and construction activities for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The role will ensure structural safety, code compliance, quality, cost efficiency, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
o Registered structural engineer designation is a precondition for enlistment in the Electronic Construction Permitting System (ECPS) of RAJUK. Minimum category – III.
o Design and analyze RCC and steel structures for residential, commercial, industrial, and high-rise projects.
o Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, technical reports, BOQ, and cost estimates.
o Perform structural analysis using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and AutoCAD.
o Review architectural and MEP drawings and coordinate with project teams.
o Conduct site inspections and supervise structural construction, quality, materials, and progress.
o Review contractor submissions, method statements, and technical documents.
o Ensure compliance with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), ACI, ASTM, AISC, project specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
o Identify and resolve structural and technical issues during design and construction.
o Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, clients, and management.
o Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
o Support project meetings, constructability reviews, cost optimization, and project planning.
o Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
