Responsibilities & Context
Review Australian residential architectural plans, elevations, sections, schedules and construction details.
Create and update residential building models using HERO software.
Accurately model building orientation, dimensions, zones, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, windows, doors and other relevant elements.
Enter construction materials, insulation values, glazing details, shading devices, ceiling penetrations, ventilation and building-services information.
Perform preliminary checks of models and identify missing, unclear or inconsistent information.
Prepare requests for information when necessary details are not available in the supplied plans.
Assist with preliminary NatHERS energy-rating calculations and improvement scenarios.
Update models following revised drawings, client instructions or assessor feedback.
Maintain organised project folders, model versions, checklists and supporting records.
Prepare model summaries and supporting documentation for review by the Australian assessor.
Follow Australian NatHERS requirements, internal procedures and quality-control processes.
Attend online training, project-review and team meetings with the Australian office.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, drawings and project documents.
Complete assigned work accurately and within required deadlines.
Job is six days in week. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Saturday will be off. Also, will follow the Australian Holiday Calendar.
