Responsibilities & Context
We are a Knit Composite Textile Factory seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for the Knitting R&D and Sample Department.
Job location will be Zamgora, Ashulia, Savar.
Product Innovation & Development: Lead the Research, Design, and Development of new products or enhancements to existing ones, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer expectations.
Sample Management: Oversee the entire sample development process, from initial design to final sample approval, coordinating with design, marketing, and sales teams.
Finishing Operations Supervision: Manage daily operations of the finishing department (e.g., sanding, staining, testing, packaging), ensuring efficiency, quality control, and on-time delivery of samples and finished products.
Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives in both R&D and finishing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality.
Quality and Compliance: Establish and maintain testing procedures for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products, ensuring all activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP), and safety protocols.
Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor R&D and sample projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver products on schedule.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide R&D and finishing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between R&D, production, quality assurance, marketing, and external vendors/clients to ensure smooth product transitions from lab to commercial scale.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain all technical documentation, including formulation reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory submissions.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
