Requirements
Education
Master of Commerce (MCom)
CA (CC), ACCA, CMA, or other professional accounting qualifications will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software is preferred.
Experience
At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

Responsibilities & Context
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company.
Check, verify, post, and maintain all accounting and financial records.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
Handle export-related accounting, LC/TT transactions, export proceeds, and foreign-currency transactions.
Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, withholding tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities.
Maintain proper financial records and ensure effective internal controls.
Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.
Handle Export L/C, BTB L/C and other processes.
Maintain & monitor various Bank Accounts, Including CD Accounts, FCAD, FC-Held, ERQ.
Maintain accurate Books of Accounts, vouchers, Journals, Ledger & supporting documents.
Involved in payment procedures; endorses the payment documents after pre-audit, but before cheque signing or bank transfer (BFTN, RTGS).
Provide financial analysis and support management in decision-making and cost control.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
