Requirements
Education
B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing Technology / IPE or Bachelor’s/ Graduate / Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a reputed Public or Private University.
Relevant professional training in Garment Quality Management will be an advantage.
Experience
5 to 7 years

Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of knit garment construction, sewing defects, measurement, workmanship and finishing quality.
Good understanding of AQL, defect classification, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis and CAPA.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.· Good command of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet shipment deadlines.
Should be smart, energetic, proactive and willing to work on the production floor.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in Knit Garments, including Executive/Sr. Executive level.
Experience with international buyers and buyer-specific quality requirements will be preferred.
Practical experience in AQL inspection, inline/end-line/final inspection and quality problem-solving is essential.
Responsibilities & Context
Lead and monitor the Quality Assurance system for knit garments from pre-production through final shipment.
Ensure products meet buyer specifications, approved samples, measurement standards, workmanship and quality requirements.
Review tech packs, size specifications, approved samples, PP comments and buyer quality manuals before bulk production.
Conduct pre-production quality meetings and ensure critical quality points are communicated to production teams.
Monitor inline, end-line, finishing and final inspections and ensure defects are identified, controlled and corrected promptly.
Analyze quality reports and defect trends and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, IE, Planning, Cutting, Sewing and Finishing teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure proper implementation of AQL inspection procedures and buyer-specific quality standards.
Monitor first output, pilot run, size set and bulk production quality and provide timely feedback.
Verify fabric, trims, print/embroidery and workmanship quality with relevant teams.
Conduct floor audits, identify root causes of recurring quality problems and drive preventive actions.
Maintain quality reports, inspection records, defect analysis, CAPA and other QA documentation.
Coordinate with buyer QA/QC, third-party inspectors and internal management during inspections.
Ensure shipment samples, final inspections and quality clearance are completed within buyer timelines.
Deliver quality awareness and workmanship training for QA/QC and production personnel.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce alteration, rework, rejection, customer complaints and quality losses.
