Additional Requirements
Age 25 to 40 years
NestJS, Next.js, Type Script, PostgreSQL, and REST API development, with practical experience in **OTA, airline ticketing, travel technology, GDS, or booking systems
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
Strong experience with Node.js
Hands-on experience with NestJS
Good experience with Next.js / React.js
Strong knowledge of *REST API development and integration
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with *Prisma ORM* or similar ORM.
Good understanding of authentication and authorization, including JWT, cookies, and RBAC
Knowledge of *Git and GitHub/GitLab
Understanding of API security and error handling.
Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Professional experience in *OTA / Travel Technology / Airline Ticketing Systems
Experience with *GDS APIs, such as Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, etc.
Experience with airline booking and ticketing workflows.
Experience with *PNR, SSR, EMD, fare rules, ticketing, refund, void, and cancellation processes
Experience with Redis and caching.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with payment gateway integration.
Experience working with B2B and B2C travel platforms.
Knowledge of micro services architecture is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context
Develop and maintain scalable web applications using *Node.js, NestJS, Next.js, and TypeScript*.
Develop and integrate *RESTful APIs* for travel and booking-related systems.
Work with *PostgreSQL* and *Prisma ORM* for database design and development.
Integrate third-party APIs, *GDS, airline APIs, payment gateways, and other travel-related services*.
Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and secure API practices.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot bugs and production issues.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with fronted developers, back end developers, QA engineers, and Dev Ops engineers.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Develop and maintain OTA features such as:
Flight search
Flight booking
PNR management
Ticket issuance
Cancellation
Refund and void processes
Fare and commission management
B2B/B2C booking workflows
