Responsibilities & Job Context
Ensure excellent service standards, maintain quality, respond efficiently to patient needs and develop patient satisfaction of administration and profession.
Provide professional nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit/ward.
Develop, implementation, evaluation the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients.
Record as well as maintaining of nursing care plans & progress notes on patients/clients to make sure continuity of care.
Participate with other health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program.
Identifying patient care requirements by establishing personal relation with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
Documentation of patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
Keeping an eye on each and every aspect of patient care that includes physical activity plus proper diet.
Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintaining nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Do any other duties of similar nature which is not covered by the above item & that may be assigned to you by the Hospital Management in the interest of the patients as well as of public service during emergency.
