Experience Requirements
Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with substantial experience in senior HR leadership roles.
Experience in a large corporate group, diversified conglomerate, manufacturing, FMCG, textile, RMG or other complex multi-business organization will be preferred.
Proven experience in leading HR functions across multiple business units or large employee populations.
Strong experience in strategic HR, organizational development, talent management, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR transformation.
Experience working closely with the Board, Managing Director, CEO and senior leadership teams will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary
Jamuna Group is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the Group’s Human Resources function. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing people strategies aligned with the organization’s business objectives, strengthening organizational capability, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring effective HR governance across the Group.
The position will provide strategic HR leadership to senior management while overseeing key areas including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, succession planning, HR policies, learning and development, employee relations, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Group’s overall HR strategy in alignment with business goals and long-term organizational objectives.
Provide strategic advice and HR leadership to Managing Director, Senior Management, and business/function heads.
Lead the development and implementation of effective HR policies, systems, processes, and organizational structures.
Oversee manpower planning, workforce optimization, and succession planning across business units.
Lead talent acquisition strategies for senior, managerial, technical, and critical positions.
Build a strong talent pipeline and develop strategies for attracting, retaining, and engaging high-potential employees.
Establish and continuously improve performance management systems, including KPI/target setting, performance evaluation, and career development.
Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business requirements.
Lead learning and development initiatives, including leadership development, management training, technical training, and capability-building programs.
Drive employee engagement, organizational culture, employee experience, and retention initiatives.
Develop and implement effective succession planning and leadership development frameworks for critical positions.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.
Oversee employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary matters, workplace conduct, and conflict resolution.
Establish appropriate HR metrics, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven management decisions.
Lead HR digitization and ensure effective utilization of HRIS and other technology-enabled HR solutions.
Review organizational structures, job roles, grading systems, and manpower requirements to improve organizational effectiveness.
Strengthen internal communication and employee engagement across different business units and locations.
Ensure effective HR operations, including personnel administration, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, benefits, and employee records.
Develop HR budgets and monitor HR-related costs and workforce productivity.
Promote diversity, professionalism, ethical conduct, and a positive workplace culture.
Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring strong functional capability, accountability, and service orientation.
Undertake any other strategic HR responsibilities assigned by the management.
Educational Requirements
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a relevant discipline.
Professional HR qualifications such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent will be an advantage.
