Age 25 to 40 years
2–5+ years of relevant experience in OTA, airline, IATA accredited travel agency, pricing, revenue management or commercial operations.
Strong knowledge of airline fares, fare rules, GDS/NDC/API and OTA pricing.
Practical experience in competitor fare analysis and supplier/airline negotiation.
Strong knowledge of the Bangladesh OTA and airline market.
Excellent Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills.
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify pricing opportunities and improve competitiveness.
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make fast, data-driven commercial decisions.
Responsibilities & Context
Analyze and compare airfares of major OTAs, airlines and competitors in international and domestic market.
Develop pricing strategies to ensure competitive market fares while maintaining profitability.
Monitor GDS/NDC/API fares, booking classes, fare rules and market trends.
Identify opportunities for better fares, special fares, promotional rates and supplier deals.
Negotiate with airlines, consolidators and suppliers for the best possible commercial rates.
Develop airline/route-wise pricing and margin strategies.
Work with the Marketing, Reservation and OTA teams to support price-led campaigns and market growth.
Identify price gaps, market opportunities, promotional fares and competitive threats.
Prepare regular Daily/Weekly/Monthly Fare Intelligence Reports for management.
Monitor competitor pricing behavior during peak seasons, holidays, Ramadan, Hajj/Umrah, Eid and other high-demand periods.
