  • In-depth knowledge of the power industry in Bangladesh.
  • Strong connections with relevant govt. and private authorities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid communication skills both in English and Bangla.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business development software.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Senior Manager with extensive knowledge of the power industry in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with various power and energy sectors, including handling tenders, forming partnerships, leading local/foreign projects, and providing exceptional service. Strong connections with relevant authorities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Business Development:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets in the power industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tenders, partnerships, and service contracts.
  • Secure regular business to ensure consistent revenue generation.
  • Partnership Development:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key players in the power and energy sectors.
  • Identify potential partners and negotiate agreements to enhance the company’s market position.
  • Service Excellence:
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services to clients in the power industry.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Networking and Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant government and private authorities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our interests.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market data to support decision-making.
