Responsibilities & Context

Development & Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites from scratch or existing sites.

• Utilize Elementor to create and customize web pages, ensuring high-quality visuals and functionality.

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.

Plugin & Theme Customization:

• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.

• Ensure compatibility with various browsers, operating systems, and devices.

Performance Optimization:

• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.

• Conduct regular website performance tests and implement necessary improvements.

Security & Updates:

• Implement and manage website security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.

• Ensure websites are up-to-date with the latest WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver seamless website solutions.

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Problem-Solving:

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.

• Provide technical support and maintenance for existing client websites.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in WordPress, Elementor, and related plugins and themes.

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience with PHP and MySQL.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce and other WordPress-based eCommerce solutions.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
