Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a public or private university (NSU, BRAC, EWU, Eastern University, AIUB, IUB, AUST) will be an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 5 years working experience in core HR
  • Must be IT proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • International experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and practices to ensure fairness and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Lead recruitment processes for both local and expatriate staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and needs.
  • Serve as the primary guide for Payroll Management, overseeing validation of monthly salary, allowances, incentives, and bonuses for local and expatriate employees in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare various HR documents, including NOCs and employment letters, with meticulous attention to detail and compliance standards.
  • Manage time sheets and leave applications, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing.
  • Design and execute Learning Strategies aligned with assessed needs, providing budgeting and forecasting insights to Senior Management for prioritization and implementation of learning activities.
  • Handle employee discipline and termination procedures in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Supervise the daily workflow of the HR department, ensuring efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.
  • Act as a mentor during new staff orientation, offering guidance on corporate policies and procedures including appraisal systems, grievance procedures, and leave policies.
  • Address staff queries and concerns regarding discrimination, payroll, leave, and other HR-related matters, providing prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with external stakeholders such as Insurance Companies and Manpower Suppliers to support organizational needs and objectives.

Work Hours: 8:00 – 17:00 (Saturday- Thursday)
