Additional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain management.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to product development.

Generate creative ideas and concepts for new products based on market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.
Analyze market data to determine product specifications, features, and pricing strategies.
Design and Prototyping
Create detailed product design sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using CAD software and other design tools.
Work closely with engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of product designs.
Coordinate product testing and validation processes to assess functionality, performance, and user experience.
Identify and source materials, components, and technologies required for product development.
Evaluate suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Communicate design specifications, requirements, and constraints to stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
Establish quality control processes and standards to ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct inspections and audits to monitor product quality, performance, and safety.
Maintain relationship with EPB and BTMA. BKMEA, BGMEA, BIDA(BOI).
