Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
A Reputed Group of Companies is seeking Security Manager to help protect the property of his Corporate Office, Dhaka. Security Manager will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard the Corporate Office’s assets, personnel, and information. His role will involve assisting security personnel, developing security protocols, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working Patterns: The Security Section is committed to providing 24/7 service to the office; therefore, duties are allocated as per shifts. Flexible working will not be possible.
- Type of Position: Full-time, Permanent
- Security Manager is reporting to the Admin Department. During the period of duty, he will be under the direct control of the Admin Department. He whilst on duty is subject at all times to the Rules and Regulations of the Company.
- Security Manager is required to know the shift patterns, his responsibilities and face appropriately to any difficulties arising. He will be required to fulfil additional duties as directed by the Authority in addition to those not laid down, as and when required to do so in the course of his security responsibilities.
- The Security Manager’s will be punctual when taking over his duty.
- Security Manager are to remain awake and alert at all times during his duty.
- While on duty, Security Manager is specifically responsible for, but not limited to:
- Security Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic security strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, ensuring the protection of physical assets, information and personnel.
- Personnel Management: Lead and manage the security team, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring a high standard of professionalism and discipline.
- Security Protocols: Design, implement, and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks, prevent unauthorized access, and respond effectively to security incidents.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential security vulnerabilities and conduct regular risk assessments to proactively address threats and vulnerabilities.
- Crisis Management: Develop and oversee crisis management plans, including emergency response procedures, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Surveillance Systems: Manage and maintain surveillance systems to monitor and protect office facilities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure security measures align with overall business operations.
- External Partnerships: Establish relationships with law enforcement agencies and security organizations to stay informed about emerging security trends and best practices.
- Incident Response: Lead investigations into security breaches, incidents, and violations, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken and lessons learned are applied.
