Requirements

Education

  • The candidate must have diploma in Agriculture with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations.

Additional Requirements

  • Experienced candidate in relevant field will get preference
  • Age, education and experience will be relaxed for the potential candidate
  • Must have knowledge about field activity of certified seed production through contract grower and quality seed potato production
  • Must Have Knowledge about certified seed production through contract grower, manage the labour and solve different field problem
  • Must have communication skill, analytical ability, problem-solving and reporting
  • Must have skill on relationship building, prioritizing. planning
  • Must have knowledge on documentation in register properly as per provided formats
  • Must have knowledge of MS word, excel and internet browsing
  • Have to work under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Select ideal block and farmer and survey land
  • Collect mouza map, dag and khotian no. and other related documents of the block of contract growers
  • Distribute different essential inputs to the contract growers on time like as foundation seed, micro-nutrient and pesticide etc
  • Ensure plantation of potato seed through contract growers on time
  • Suggest the contract farmers about the production technology like as seed preparation, fertilizer dose and application, earthing up, irrigation
  • Complete schedule rouging and spraying, sorting, grading, bagging, weighting, sewing and finally seed send to the cold storage
  • Supervise the activities of labour at field
  • Preserve documents, maintain register and submit repot to the supervisor
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
