Responsibilities & Context

 

 

Job Context:

  • A supply chain manager presides over the flow of value and associated information across a network of customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • The selected candidate will report to the head of the department directly.
  • We are looking for a dynamic individual for this position who will be mainly responsible for the following duties and responsibilities.

1. VENDOR MANAGEMENT:

  • Existing Vendor management.
  • New vendor development.
  • Negotiation of best prices.
  • Reduce supply chain costs while improving service quality
  • Have good connections with various suppliers with different products such as Belt, Bearing, AC, Compressor, Battery, Stationary etc.
  • Vendor audit for product and process compliance.

2. PLANNING, PRODUCTION, and WAREHOUSING

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders such as factory management, end users, suppliers, and other relative internal departments such as finance, legal, production, etc.
  • Demand forecasting.
  • Inventory management.
  • Keeping track of factory inventory.
  • Warehouse storage optimization.
  • Spend analysis.
  • Make or buy decisions.

3. LOGISTICS

  • Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
  • Rate negotiations with transporters.
  • Shipment consolidation.
  • Returns and damaged goods management.

4. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT and DOCUMENTATION

  • Develop the company’s supply chain strategy.
  • Maintaining records as per legal requirements
  • Identify and implement sustainable and less resource-intensive supply chain solutions.
  • Familiar with ERP Software.
