Responsibilities & Context
One of the largest textile and apparel companies in Bangladesh, Interstoff concentrates on exports. This company launched in 2002 and manufactures knitted, colored, printed, embroidered, and stitched composite materials. To assist us expand this function, we are in search of an applicant with the qualities of well-educated, assertive, passionate, and eager.
- Taking charge of Yarn and Grey Warehouse operations overall.
- Precise receipt of all supplies, taking inventory, and examining quality.
- Documenting in the stock PC (software) in accordance with protocol and informing the department head of the issue.
- Supervise the daily issuance and receipt of yarn, checking its quality with a gray inspector. Keep an eye on maintaining all delivery and receiving records in the designated register and on your PC (software).
- Make arrangements for the business to keep all supplies while adhering to the requirements of the customers.
- To provide accurate raw materials in accordance with every request. Supplying the appropriate yarn in accordance with the manufacturing schedule.
- Guaranteeing proper document provision and amount loading for every delivery.
- Compiling a report on store inventory and providing the management with an accurate update.
- Keep track of the minimal stock level and let management know.
- Strictly adhere to the FIFO and LIFO scheme.
- Take part in a hands-on inventory check.
- Preserve dryness, cleanliness, and pest control in shops.
- To plan the delivery of yarn to the knitting department, including gate passes, challans, and yarn delivery, and to properly document everything.
- Familiar with the concepts, methods, and best practices of inventory control.
- Any additional duties assigned by management.
