Responsibilities & Context
- Collaborate with fashion designers to understand their vision, advice, and requirements for motif designs.
- Research current fashion trends, industry techniques, and best practices related to screen printing and embroidery.
- Develop original and unique motif designs that reflect the fashion designer’s aesthetic and brand identity.
- Create digital mock-ups and prototypes of motifs using graphic design software.
- Ensure that designs are technically feasible for screen printing and embroidery processes.
- Modify and refine designs based on feedback from fashion designers, considering factors such as color, scale, and placement.
- Prepare final design files with accurate specifications and color separations for production.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and resources. Stay updated on emerging graphic design trends and technologies relevant to screen printing and embroidery.
