Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in commerce background from IBA/ Dhaka University/ North South / BRAC/AIUB is highly proffered.
  • Accounting / Finance/ Management is preferable.
  • All first class in whole academic history is preferred but at least at SSC & HSC level is must.
  • IBA, Dhaka University,North South University,BRAC University students will get preference

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age 23 to 35 years
  • At least 03 to 05 years hands on experience.
  • Pleasant and presentable personality with strong character.
  • Have to be punctual, smart and energetic.
  • Diligent & honest.
  • Computer skill is must (ms office, excel/ browsing internet/ maintaining database).

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Ambala Foundation a non-profit and non-political organization which MRA License no: 00350-01308-00086, has been working in Bangladesh since 1994 with over one million people, their families and communities at the grass root to national level in the field of microfinance, human rights, governance, health, education, income generation, environment, women and children development, cross cultural communication etc. To achieve the organizational goal a few dedicated and energetic professional needed at Accounts team to strength and achieve success of organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Payment and receipt of cash on the counter and manage the cash stock and maintain the cash book.
  • Issuing of cheque for making payments and confirming of receipt of bank deposits or instruments and then check with the internet banks.
  • Assist to maintain accounts and purchases vouchers in accounting software.
  • Assist to maintain supplier accounts and procurement vouchers in accounting software.
  • Communicate with branch office, banks and other related parts for accounts purpose.
  • Participate in short term traveling to banks or other institutes.
  • Participate in stock checking.
  • Any other task arranged by department managers/supervisors.
  • Efficiency on MS Excell & MS Office.
  • Experience on Vat & Tax related work.
