Duties and Responsibilities
- Working on Domain Controller, IPBX Server, Mail Server, Application Server etc. of IDCOL Data Center (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites;
- Operating VMware to create new Virtual Servers and monitoring server’s performance of IDCOL DC and DR sites;
- Installing and configuring Windows and Linux Operating System on Servers;
- Managing internet connection of Head Office (HO) and Regional Offices (RO) as well as data connectivity between IDCOL DC, DR and other stakeholders;
- Managing Local Area Network of IDCOL HO and RO;
- Managing Wi-Fi routers and providing user privilege;
- Operating IDCOL router, firewall, switch etc.;
- Working on web application hosting;
- Creating requisition for procurement of hardware and software;
- Handling and resolving IT support calls (both software or hardware), installing and deploying new software and hardware, upgrading and troubleshooting for IDCOL head office and RO when necessary;
- Contacting vendor for repair and maintenance of IT equipment;
- Setting up and providing support for audio/video conferencing;
- Working as a team member and providing adequate support to other IT officials; and
- Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor and senior IT officials.
