Requirements

Education

  • Graduation/Post Graduation from a reputed institution on relevant subject in (Finance/Economics) is preferred with a satisfactory academic track record.
  • Professional Certification (e.g., CFA) will be an added advantage.

Experience

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ banking experience including 3-4 years in Dealing Room (preferably in fixed income dealing).
  • Good conceptual skill in understanding market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge on economic events.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong and demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled and team player.

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Treasury & Financial Institutions Division:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing investment portfolio (G-Sec, corporate bond, term money etc.) towards maximizing profit.
  • Need to run both trading portfolio and investment portfolio for the bank.
  • Develop trading strategies doing macroeconomic research and yield curve analysis.
  • Keep a constant eye on portfolio performance and rebalance the portfolio if needed.
  • Spot arbitrage opportunity, take advantage and maximize profit.
  • Manage position within risk limits.
  • Establishment and maintenance of strong relationship with counter parties.
  • Marketing Treasury products to existing and prospective customers, both retail and institutions as per strategic plan and ensure the budgets of the department are achieved
  • Support managing balance sheet gap.
  • Introduce new structures and products based on customer requirements and regulatory framework.
  • Ensure compliance.
