Responsibilities & Context
SPTC is an independent training institute dedicated to promoting decent & gainful work employment by accelerating technical & vocational knowledge and through the certification process.
- To assist in carrying out the purpose, vision, values, and goals of SPTC & SIMT and to build upcoming strategy papers as required.·
- To carry out the Child and Women Rights Advocacy (CWRA) intervention at the Training Center and community level by adhering to the Annual Plan, Goal, and pertinent Guidelines.
- To identify the gaps while taking inclusivity into consideration and to contribute to the accessibility evaluation of the Training Center’s environment and infrastructure for training programs.·
- To help the team leader with social mapping in order to identify potential youth trainees, appropriate students, and potential PWD and ethnic minority group trainees for the SPTC & SIMT program by keeping track of the ratios between gender, PWD, and marginalized groups with assistance from the regional and center authorities.·
- To establish trust and maintain open lines of communication with the trainees of SPTC & SIMT, their parents, the targeted community, current community groups, and strategic partners in order to secure their support in keeping the trainees.·
- To enroll new trainees and promote the SPTC & SIMT program through awareness events, various meetings, day observations, individual or group discussions, and the distribution of BCC & IEC materials.
- To plan and carry out meetings at the center and in the community.·
- To guarantee the active participation of parents, the community, and strategic partners in order to the interest of current students and encourage new enrollment in the SPTC & SIMT center, as well as to help their young children/youth get decent jobs through skill training.·
- To enhance and support the Child/Youth Council at the General and Training Center levels in terms of their active involvement in all center events in order to raise the caliber of the programs.·
- To support the establishment, maintenance, and strengthening of relationships with the local government, administration, NGOs, CSOs, CBOs, clubs, associations, educational institutions.·
- To develop strategic partnerships for low-cost student mobilization, cultural events, public awareness campaigns, health and residential support, and regular updates regarding SPTC and SIMT programs.·
- To effectively and efficiently plan cultural and day celebration events and awareness-raising activities at the center and community levels in order to pique the interest of various stakeholders in the SPTC & SIMT program by involving the local government authority, prominent members of the community, local leaders, celebrants, CSOs, CBO representatives, and the media.·
- To actively participate in the Training Center as the Gender and Child Protection Focal Point; to maintain and carry out regular meetings; to enhance the community’s opinion- and suggestion-sharing mechanism; and to report to the supervisor or other appropriate authority.·
- To assist in the creation of advocacy strategies for the inclusiveness, training, and education programs at SPTC & SIMT, as well as the organization’s social enterprise, and to mobilize local resources for organizational sustainability.·
- To promote SPTC & SIMT’s program and educate stakeholders on the rights of women and children, we will host workshops, orientations, and other events.·
- To gather program evaluations from both direct and indirect beneficiaries, submit findings to senior management, regional management, and other appropriate authorities, and take appropriate action.
- To schedule an orientation session on the SPTC and SIMT Child Protection Policy, Child Rights, and Harassment Prevention based on the authorized session plan of the pertinent students in order to guarantee their safety.
