  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tendering software/tools

Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitor various government portals and sources to identify relevant tenders.
  • Analyze tender documents, requirements, and specifications to determine suitability and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary information and documentation for bid submissions.
  • Prepare detailed and compliant bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit bids within the specified deadlines and manage any amendments or queries
  • Ensure all bids comply with government regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with tender submissions and government
  • contracts.
  • Liaise with government officials, clients, and internal teams to clarify requirements and address queries.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to ensure smooth and timely submission of tenders.
  • Manage awarded contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and compliance with agreed-upon timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tender submissions, correspondence, and contracts.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on tender activities, success rates, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
  • Stay updated with changes in government procurement policies and share knowledge with the team.
