Responsibilities & Context
Role Overview:
As the DGM – Finance and Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving financial performance. Your expertise will be critical in managing financial operations, interacting with stakeholders, and contributing to policy formulation.
Key Responsibilities are:
Financial Management:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Represent the Finance and Accounts department in meetings and negotiations.
- Build strong relationships to support business objectives.
Auditing and Compliance:
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Implement robust internal controls and risk management practices.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence.
Policy Development:
- Contribute to financial policy formulation.
- Provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency.
