Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to senior management.
Identify cost variances and provide explanations for discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor actual costs against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
Work with production teams to understand and predict future cost trends
Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Develop and maintain standard costing procedures and ensure compliance
Oversee inventory valuation and control, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Work with procurement and production teams to manage inventory levels and costs.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of costing methodologies and processes.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
