Additional Requirements

Manage Spare parts supply and inventory
Sourcing of Spares & Co-ordinate with Procurement Dept.
Compare and assess the supplier proposals.
Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions.
Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.
Measure parts, using precision measuring instruments, in order to determine whether similar parts may be machined to required sizes.
Discuss the conditions of the agreement and the price of the contract.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Review quality of purchased products
Ensure entry order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
