Requirements

Education

  • Minimum BA degree/University degree, preferably in Psychology, Social Sciences or Social Work, or competencies equivalent to a combination of training and experience.

Additional Requirements

Experience Requirement:

  • Previous 3 years of experience in child protection PSS service provision in the Rohingya response
  • Minimum 1 year experience in team management

Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating and monitoring implementation of IOM PSS and CBCP programme and activities for children and adolescents in the field level
  • Facilitate development of PSS / CBCP activity plan for the PSS cycles.
  • Providing supervision and daily support for the PSS/CBCP workers and Rohingya volunteers.
  • Reviewing and developing session plans for structured PSS and CBCP activities.
  • Collaborate with other IOM Protection staff (CT,GBV,GP) and IOM Units to mainstream child protection
  • Providing capacity building for PSS Workers and Rohingya Volunteers
  • Coordinating and compiling weekly and monthly field reports and data
  • Providing technical inputs, compile data for proposal and reporting requirements
  • Report any violation of the child safe guarding policy and PSEA of IOM
  • Work in emergency basis when necessary
  • Any other task relevant to the position.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 96,687.92.
