Responsibilities & Context
- Supervise daily kitchen and canteen operations to ensure timely and efficient food service.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen and canteen activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Plan, develop, and cost menus in consultation with the chef.
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality standards and consistency.
- Control of waste management procedures.
- Train and supervise kitchen and canteen staff.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
- Ensure that the kitchen and canteen comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
