  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management.

Mir Ceramic Limited is a leading Tiles Manufacturer in Bangladesh, known for its commitment to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Product Manager / Category Manager.

This role will play a crucial part in driving the success of our product categories by developing and implementing effective strategies to optimize sales and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Shape marketing and sales strategies to maximize revenue and profit, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide insights and resources for executing the commercial plan.
  • Lead the 4P strategy (Assortment, Merchandising, Price, Promotion, and Shelving) for consistency across stores.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to showcase brands in-store and across channels.
  • Define product category objectives, target audience, pricing, and margin goals.
  • Conduct product gap analysis and develop new product introduction strategies.
  • Plan and coordinate brand/sales materials and website content with the Branding team.
  • Analyze product lifecycle and develop optimization strategies.
  • Develop annual sales projections, incorporating market insights and consumer trends.
  • Lead forecasting activities with the Sales team.
  • Identify export opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Conduct profitability analysis for products and categories, identifying optimization areas.
  • Perform 80:20 analysis to identify top performers and make decisions on product discontinuation.
  • Coordinate with Production to ensure one-month freezing for production based on sales trends, new products, and seasonality.
