Job Context

We are looking for a Manager-Merchandising for Knit Garments Factory. Job location in Mirpur-Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:

To handle day-to-day merchandising operations.
To prepare price quotation and Cost Sheet.·
Strong knowledge about traceability record keeping from fiber to garments.
To follow up production from fabric booking to shipment.
Maintain communication with buyers including sample follow-up.
Should be capable of contacting potential Business Development buyers against new order collection.
Understand and follow up customer procedures for order execution.
Work with the production department to ensure production quality and timely delivery of orders.
Must have strong knowledge of various fabric consumption to prepare costing.
To deal with the buyer independently for all the marketing & merchandising activities including price quotes, negotiation, and sourcing.
Coordinate with the planning department to determine the delivery schedule and sequence of implementing all orders in the lines.
Coordinate with the sample section to ensure proper sample design for the buyer, send the sample on time, and follow up on any comments or acceptance of that sample from the buyer side.
To communicate with the buyers, trim suppliers, fabric manufacturers, etc.
