- Minimum of 12 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong background in machine maintenance within the textile industry.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills, with demonstrated experience in leading maintenance teams and managing maintenance projects.
- In-depth technical knowledge of textile manufacturing machinery, including looms, spinning machines, dyeing equipment, and finishing lines.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications for maintenance planning, documentation, and reporting.
Responsibilities & Context
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for all machinery in the textile manufacturing process.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production schedules while maximizing equipment uptime.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal performance.
- Delegate tasks effectively, assigning responsibilities based on skill levels and workload.
Equipment Inspections and Diagnostics:
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues or areas of concern.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate repair or maintenance actions.
Repairs and Maintenance:
- Oversee the execution of repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to procure spare parts and necessary equipment for maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in machine maintenance practices.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize maintenance workflows and reduce operational costs.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for maintenance personnel and other factory employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations governing equipment maintenance and operation.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, inventory logs, and repair histories.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and downtime analysis to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives.
