Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: Sentry Security Services Ltd. is a leading security service provider in Bangladesh, committed to ensuring the safety and security of our clients through professional and reliable services. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Industrial Relations Manager to manage and resolve various employee issues, ensuring compliance with the country’s laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and address issues related to guards’ compliance with country laws and company policies.
  • Investigate incidents of misconduct, absenteeism, theft, and property damage involving security guards.
  • Handle all types of disputes involving security guards, including conflicts with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Mediate disputes and provide effective conflict resolution strategies.
  • Ensure all actions and policies comply with national labor laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with the company’s lawyer to take appropriate legal actions when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to incidents involving security guards, including fights, theft, and property damage.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and document findings.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate security personnel on company policies, legal compliance, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular briefings and workshops to reinforce standards of conduct and performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of all incidents, investigations, and actions taken.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on industrial relations issues and resolutions.
  • Act as a liaison between security personnel and management to address grievances and concerns.
  • Provide recommendations to management on policies and practices to improve employee relations and compliance.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce incidents of misconduct and non-compliance.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and integrity among security guards.
