Job Context

Sentry Security Services Ltd. is a leading security service provider in Bangladesh, committed to ensuring the safety and security of our clients through professional and reliable services. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Industrial Relations Manager to manage and resolve various employee issues, ensuring compliance with the country’s laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all accounts related books and documents (cash and bank book), general ledger book, cheque register, stock register, salary register, fixed assets register, bank reconciliation) and other relevant registers.
  • Preparation of financial statements, including Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheets, and necessary monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports as required by management.
  • Ensure the maintenance of all financial records and books of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly bills and submit to client and ensure collection and recording properly.
  • Develop the upkeep of Bank books, General ledger books, Party ledger books, and other relevant registers.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including monthly reconciliation.
  • Recommend and implement improved accounting methods, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Liaise with banks for payment instructions and other bank-related issues.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly accounts related report preparation and checking.
  • Reconcile the balance end of the month and submit the Monthly reports to the Management.
  • Prepare and record regular receipts and payments vouchers.
  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Bangladesh tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely payment of all tax liabilities, including income tax, withholding tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Bangladesh tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee VAT registration, filing, and compliance activities under Bangladesh VAT laws.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual VAT returns accurately and on time.
  • Other accounts related day to day job.
  • Special assignment as per management requirement.
