- Job Experience Required- 8 to 10 years’ experience in large software architecture environment.
- Required Capabilities- Design and implementation of Micro-services (Micro Service technologies like Spring Boot, Quarkus, GraphQL & service mesh architectures
- Proven experience in BackEnd development of Web and Mobile applications with modern technologies (Node-Js, PHP Laravel, Python, Go,Nest, NiFi, gRPC, GMS)
- Cloud technologies (AWS and Google Cloud and others) + services
- Understanding of Security concepts in relation to Microservices
- Understanding of API (REST/ SOAP / TMF) & building proof of concept
- Understanding of Virtualization technologies & container solutions such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Understanding of Analytics and monitoring platforms and technologies such as Splunk and Tableau
- Worked in Agile teams and organizations (Scrum and/or Kanban)
- Experience in CI/CD methodology
Responsibilities & Context
Job Description
- Architecture Ownership: Own and execute Banglalink’s All Digital Platforms Architecture to move towards target architecture and plan to ensure capacity, availability, and flexibility Will be accountable to make the architecture of Mobile apps future fit to cater the scale and capability /functionality ambitions of BL. In parallel, drive architecture modifications to make app stable (reduce incidents/bugs). Also, support microservices transformation journey to make apps modular and configurable for future. Drive architecture/solutions Modernization by recommending latest/best fit tools, coding languages/platform and best practices. Also mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers / Architects
- Business Requirements Analysis & Application Design: Perform business requirement analysis, design application, dimensioning of web App/API/Backend services and integration activities with other various digital service platforms, OTT, and value-added service platforms
- Application Development: Lead Development of highly scalable and configurable App, web applications, APIs, backend systems, micro-services, database systems, etc.
- Lead the development teams and squads: Lead the development with in-house team and in co-ordination of augmented teams and partners to ensure robust applications with efficient design, enhanced configurability, and cost optimization by following Agile way of work.
- Enforce Application Quality, Security & Scalability: Implement quality codes, end-to-end testing, security compliance and predicted application behaviors by following standards and best practices.
- Efficiency: Ensure efficiency and optimization while devising the Architecture and designing Solutions that guarantee optimized use of resources (e.g. infra, development effort etc.) and wise utilization of CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operational Expenditure). Drive Process analysis, code optimization, modeling, re-engineering, simplification and automation.
- Change Management: Responsible for managing “Change Management” with co-ordination of Partners/Vendor and OEM.
- Security and Data Privacy: Ensure SW architecture, design and solution to strongly adhere and implement security rules/policies as per Telenor Security policy and latest cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Leadership: Be a thought leader, drive and grow highly skilled, energetic, dynamic and ambitious individuals with diverse expertise and experience who have enormous drive for growth. support the team by removing technical obstacles and challenges, explore innovative and creative ideas and drive for implementation, mentor them to become experienced SW Architect in future.
