Responsibilities & Context
JOB CONTEXT:
We are looking for a high-performing SALES MANAGER to help the department Head of Sales & Marketing to meet sales growth, sales targets, collection & recovery, customer requirement and revenue growth by keeping company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for leading & monitoring our sales team potential, implementing sales plans & strategies under supervision of the Head of Department.
Products: Tractor, Rotavator, PowerTiller, Reader, Harvester and other agriculture equipment.
To Prepare sales budget and forecast, promotional plans of the assigned part/region of Motor to remain accountable for the business performance are the main purpose of this position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Territory and Supply Management
- Judiciously designing and fixing territory and area for Marketing Officers, Sr. Marketing Officers and Territory Managers, Area Head & RSMs
- Rational allocation of target given by Portfolio Manager to RSM, Territory Managers, Sr. Marketing Officers and Marketing Officers Sales & Credit-related activity
- To ensure that Part/Regional monthly sales target is achieved.
- Visit the markets to assess the performance of Vintage vis-à-vis the Competitors and there after formulate & amend the strategy according to the prevailing situation.
- To monitor that total credit outstanding is within approved limit & period.
- To ensure that credit policy of the company is implemented properly.
- To monitor customer’s balance confirmation as company book.
- Keep relations with Agricultural Network & NGO
Promotional Program-Related Activity:
- To prepare promotional plans, supervision of implementation and success of promotional activities by the Area Manager in their assigned areas.
- To allocate and distribution of promotional materials of each quarter.
Reporting Related Activity:
- To prepare and inform market information to superior as daily and monthly.
- To prepare sales, credit and promotional program report monthly and yearly.
People Development Activity:
- To continuously develop subordinates in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude so that they can go up the career ladder.
- To coach Area head, territory officer, business development officer so that they understand their jobs properly and perform to get effective result from his team.
- To give on the job training to Area Head, territory Managers, Senior Marketing Officers and Marketing Officers in order to get the job done by them.
