Responsibilities & Context

Edison Technologies is launching a new venture in the frozen fish export industry and is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Frozen Fish Business Unit. If you have a passion for seafood, a proven track record in international trade, and strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

1.Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the unit’s short-term and long-term goals.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the business unit’s global footprint.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.

2.Operational Management:

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and quality standards.
• Implement best practices in production, logistics, and distribution to enhance productivity.

3.Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage the business unit’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.

4.Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the highest standards of quality control throughout the production and export process.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs and protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

5.Business Development:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the business unit’s products.

6.Collaboration with C&F Agents:

• Coordinate with Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) agents to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely shipment of products.
• Monitor and manage C&F agent performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
• Resolve any issues related to customs, shipping, and documentation promptly.
