Responsibilities & Context

Cosmos Group is looking for a young and dynamic candidate for the position of Assistant Project Officer. This position will oversee and track all ongoing projects across various departments, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves regular reporting to the VP of Cosmos Group on the status, risks, and progress of projects. The ideal candidate must possess a PMP certification and demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Tracking and Management:
    • Assist the VP in system implementation.
    • Monitor the progress of all projects in the Power, Water, Energy, Instrument, ICT, Logistics and Media sectors.
    • Ensure projects are executed according to the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to project success.
    • Track and coordinate UNB sales, digital and newsroom activities, timelines, and output
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management.
    • Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Collaboration:
    • Liaise with different departments to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
    • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Resource Management:
    • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize project outcomes.
    • Ensure the availability and allocation of necessary resources and materials.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain project management best practices and standards.
    • Ensure projects meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
