Responsibilities & Context

Make sure all health and safety concerns are met on the hotel grounds.

Give emergency patients medical attention, administer first aid, and take appropriate action, such as sending them to one of the many nearby specialty hospitals for more advanced care (if needed), reporting any pertinent information to the hotel’s management.

In charge of a paramedic, nurse, or first aid team during an emergency.

Adhere to Marriott International’s health-related guidelines and develop a local standard operating procedure (SOP) for the property if required.

Foreign Visitors Guests staying in five-star hotels may have illnesses that need to be treated on-site, or if necessary, the hotel authority may be advised to manage hospitals without hazards.

Implement & evaluate care for occupational and non-occupational injuries & illnesses.

Establishes & Maintains an accurate record keeping system related to treatment activities.

Proactively maintains the confidentiality of all records.

In response to medical issues affecting employees, review their medical history and, if required, provide diagnosis, treatment, counselling, and referrals.

Perform physical examinations on staff members to assess blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, and any associated health issues.

Coordinate with HR department regarding new joiner employee’s medical checkup.

Counsel and train the responsible person about the use of the First Aid Box on the uses and purpose of medicine.

Enlist pregnant employees’ records, provide periodic checkups, and ensure the working health condition of pregnant employees.

Provide Maternity Leave suggestions after verifying documents.

Work together with the HR department to organize health-related training sessions that will raise knowledge of workplace health and cleanliness.

Prepare, provide, and maintain compliance-related medical reports/documents for the audit.

Any other logical tasks as assigned by the top management.
