Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview: Assure Tours & Travels (Assure Tourism Ltd) is a sister concern of ASSURE Group. It is an IATA-accredited travel agency and also a member of ATAB and TOAB. The Group is looking for an Assistant General Manager/Manager, Sales & Marketing (Tours and Travels).

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall performance of the airline ticketing department.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the team, setting clear objectives and goals aligned with the company’s mission and vision.
  • Look after the training and welfare of all men under command.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day ticketing operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze ticketing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Able to generate daily reports for higher management.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of ticketing/Tour & Travel professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging continuous learning and development.

Customer Service:

  • Implement customer-centric strategies to enhance the overall passenger experience during ticketing and other travel agency related services.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and effective manner.

Revenue Management:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions on pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Radius risk and adopt policy guidelines given by top management.

Technology Integration:

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in ticketing systems and implement upgrades or new systems to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including ticketing policies, aviation laws, and security protocols.

Financial Management:

Prepare and manage the department budget, monitoring expenses, and revenue performance.

  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
