Responsibilities & Context
- Sound and solid planning and follow up total production flow and balancing the production process to ensure optimum capacity utilization.
- Figure out deviations and assist in making rectification to future production plans based on the differences between planned and actual production in the past plan period.
- Bring sustainable efficiency improvements by identifying the bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of it.
- Improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through Integrated Planning Information and analysis.
- Providing guidelines & instructions to sub-ordinates to achieve high productivity with required quality level·
- To check & monitor the manpower utilization of the department/ sections to assure that it gives the maximum benefits to the company.
- Provide best cost minimization plan to sub-ordinates & achieve it combine.
- Ensure cost reduction by reducing wastage, rejection, alteration, over production & working extra hour.
- To arrange pre-production meetings for all new styles before starting production.
- To ensure a smooth workflow with properly managed supply chain of fabrics and accessories.
- Monitor the disturbance of achieving daily production target.
- To plan and maintain a minimum workforce required for the stitching plan and the forecasted shipment plan.
- To check and verify all required stitching and packing accessories are available as per stitching plan.
- Ensure production achievement Shift wise/ Machine wise/ Process wise Production.
- Ensure minimum wastage and keeping data of wastage Shift wise/ Process wise.
- Responsible for analyzing the workers performance and review operator skill level and ensure corrective action to train potential worker.
- To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
