- Experience: Minimum 12-14 years in the Processing department in textile industry.
Responsibilities & Context
- The role of a General Manager (Processing) involves managing the entire processing department.
- Responsible for the total operation of all processing activities including of bleaching, dyeing, printing, singing, desizing, mercerizing as per fabric quality requirements.
- Formulation of machine wise standard operating procedures for better functioning of men and machine.
- Capable to formulate & implement new ideas and strategies for increasing production and increasing revenues.
- Maintaining the chemical inventory and forecasting requirement and consumption of the chemicals.
- Monitoring the complete activities of processing & and handling all related lab tests, audits and inspections.
- Ensure environmental and safety compliances are implemented in the production floor.
- Imparting continuous job training and motivation to the workforce for enhancing their productivity & operational efficiencies through knowledge enhancement / skill building.
