Aurora Specialized Hospital, located in Kakrail, Dhaka, is currently seeking qualified Medical Officers (Indoor) to join our esteemed team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the healthcare service while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Location: 19/1 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000.

Job Nature: Contractual.

Type: Full Time (Roster).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients within Aurora Specialized Hospital.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients admitted to the hospital, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretation.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical protocols.
  • Monitor and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinating with specialists and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Perform medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, and minor surgical interventions when required.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing immediate intervention and stabilizing patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care delivery and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively in medical records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care transitions.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical knowledge, techniques, and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, including infection control measures and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support and supervision to junior medical staff, interns, and medical students as assigned.
  • Collaborate with hospital management and clinical leadership to enhance patient care services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a stressful and diversified working environment.
