Responsibilities & Context
As a Nutritionist at American Wellness Center, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their health and wellness goals. You will provide one-on-one counseling, develop customized nutrition plans, and offer guidance on lifestyle changes. This position also involves consulting patients over the phone, ensuring they receive continuous support and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans based on individual health needs and goals.
- Provide counseling and education to patients on dietary choices, food preparation, and healthy eating habits.
- Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to nutrition plans.
- Consult with patients over the phone, offering advice and answering questions regarding diet and lifestyle.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest nutritional science and dietary guidelines.
- Participate in community outreach and educational programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
