Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) started agro business through manufacturing high quality feeds with its sister concern named United Feeds Limited (UFL) to eliminate the malnutrition problem in the country. Fresh branded Feeds are being produced by automated computerized machines with advanced modern technologies to attain utmost customer satisfaction. To ensure necessary nutrient requirements for keeping fish, cattle, and poultry in good health, optimal growth, and optimum yield. UFL is currently looking for honest, talented, self-driven, proactive and career-ambitious chemist professionals. The incumbent will be responsible for handling day to day lab related work and maintaining and improving the quality of feeds products as per standard.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check & test the quality of Raw materials (RM) and Finished Goods (FGs) according to established standards and guidelines·
  • Conduct proximate analysis, chemical tests and physical tests of raw materials and finished feeds on a regular basis·
  •  Check test results on a regular basis, if abnormality rises, inform immediately to management for corrective measures.
  • Prepare new products with proper formula and procedure.
  • Collect & preserve samples of Finished Goods from shifts to check quality.
  • Train the sample collectors on their regular activities & responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments to address quality-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to sample analysis, including reports, and other relevant records.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, such as spectroscopy (FT-NIR), spectrophotometers, ELISA as per standard procedure.
  • Ensure that all testing procedures are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Requisite of laboratory chemicals/related materials/spares to maintain smooth operations.
