Responsibilities & Context

  • Managing and training the concierge, night auditor and team of receptionists.
  • Liaising with other departments.
  • Trains, cross–trains, and retrain all front office personnel.
  • Participates in the selection of front office personnel.
  • Maintain records of all data, forecast the arrival and departure of guests on an everyday basis, and ensure an effective night team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyze all guest complaints and requests and ensure timely resolution for all.
  • Supervise the working of all team members and ensure the achievement of all front office objectives according to quality standards.
  • Monitor the work of staff and ensure efficient maintenance of all rooms according to resort standards.
  • Ensuring the front desk provides professional and friendly customer service.
  • Dealing with customers, including handling complaints when they come to the desk.
  • Troubleshooting emergencies.
  • Scheduling your staff rotation.
  • Schedules the front office staff.
  • Supervises workload during shifts.
  • Maintain a Record of room inventory for the facility and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor all activities of the front desk on an everyday basis and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures to maintain exceptional quality of services.
  • Supervise all account and finance-related processes, such as payroll, to ensure timely payment.
  • Evaluate the job performance of each front office employee.
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Administer all operations of front desk operations such as concierge service and guest relations.
